ActiveWebShop is owned by Stéphane Margolis, a designer and developer operating in Paris & Prague. Stéphane Margolis has been making Websites and Custom Content Management Systems since 1996. Stéphane Margolis is dedicated to craft and customer satisfaction.
ActiveWebShop, an Adobe Systems Incorporated Software, is hosted at the iPrimus Data Centers (NASDAQ: PRTL).
ActiveWebShop Manifesto
- 1. A website is a software and is licensed, not sold.
- 2. The cost of the license equals the agreed cost of the website development
- 3. A website is protected by copyright laws
- 4. The license does not include any content editing and/or management
- 5. Building a website requires extensive thinking and research
- 6. Building a website requires extensive testing, including complying with major browsers
- 7. Building a good website takes at least 2 months
- 8. A website development is completed when the system meets stipulated requirements
- 9. 50% of the total cost of a Website development is paid upon execution of the agreement
- 10. Requests not mentioned in the signed agreement generate additional costs
- 11. A website requires maintenance, implies a monthly based fee
- 12. A website needs upgrades, implies an hourly based fee
